Hey everyone,

One of our values here at OVO is ‘Find A Better Way’, and given the current situation and restrictions around Covid19 we are really keen to continue hiring and make sure that any new hires have the best possible experience - from application to getting you fully embedded into OVO. Our teams across the business have been working hard and have put together a solid plan to ensure all candidates and new employees have an amazing (albeit remote) experience.

How will I interview with OVO?

As a technology focused company, we have had plenty of experience in remotely hiring whilst still ensuring each candidate gets a seamless experience. We have researched numerous tools to create a process which reflects an on-site interview as closely as possible, using software such as Google Hangouts, Excalidraw, CodeBunk etc.

We want to give you the best chance to shine during the interview process. Our main aim is to make sure you feel comfortable throughout and get a great impression as to what it’s like to work at OVO. All of our interviews are conducted in a conversational manner, so please ask us any questions you may have - from our culture and values, to where’s best to get lunch!

Congratulations - you’ve got the job! Now what happens?

Your Talent Acquisition Partner will be in touch throughout the journey, ensuring that your employment contract, right to work checks and referencing are all complete. They will be on hand throughout for any questions you may have!

From there you will receive all the information needed - from making sure you’ve got the right IT set up at home to hangouts with your new team… we might even throw in some OVO swag along the way!

Now I’m a fully fledged member of OVO - what’s next?

We know that starting a new job remotely can seem pretty daunting, but rest assured we are all working together to make sure you feel as settled as possible during this period! We will work really hard with our awesome IT guys to get you all of the kit you need to get you started. After a virtual company induction on your first day, we have lots planned for your first week (and month) such as online team socials, working from home tips and tricks, wellbeing packs and much more!

We are super excited to speak to anyone who wants to join our OVO journey (even if it is currently from the comfort of your own home)!
